Jola Recchioni "You're Going Down Boy"
GENRE: BLUES/ROCK
Jola Recchioni lives in London, UK. Jola is a new blues and blues rock artist who burst into the music scene in 2022 and is quickly growing her following among the lovers of blues and blues rock. She started writing, composing and recording her songs only last year when she released her first solo blues rocking album Wrongtime. Her second album
Gone To Find My Blues, of which “You’re Going Down Boy” is a part, was released last December.
Jola Recchioni wrote both the
music and lyrics of the song and the guitars are played by Oliver McKiernan, the producer.
Jola says: “This song definitely has a definite starting point in blues but I wanted it to be rocky
as well, maybe even with a slight punk vibe. This kind of blues rock I love creating and singing
most. It is a slightly tongue-in-cheek, with a bit of humour thrown in, story of three women
discovering that they share the same boyfriend and, when it all unravels: oh, well :
“You’re Goin Down Boy”! He might as well start running now. I hope the end result is an
entertaining to listen track!”
