Mojo Watson is an independent recording artist, guitarist, and songwriter whose music lives at the crossroads of blues, soul,
rock, and jazz. With a sound that is both timeless and
fresh, Mojo carries forward the legacy of the blues
while shaping it into his own distinctive voice.
Since releasing his debut album Summer Is Near
in 1999, Mojo has built an impressive catalog of
nearly 100 published songs, all released
through his own label, Watashea Records.
Albums such as Inheritance (2002), Black
Beauty (2004), 18th & Agnes (2007), and
Geechy Woman (2011) showcase his

stations and streaming platforms worldwide, earning
respect within the blues community and beyond.
What sets Mojo apart is his ability to blend storytelling
with musicianship. His guitar playing is steeped in the
tradition of the greats, yet always pointed forward, while
his lyrics capture the struggles, joys, and lived
experiences that make the blues eternal.
With every performance and recording, Mojo Watson
reaffirms his place as a torchbearer for modern
blues—authentic, passionate, and unafraid to walk his own
path.
