Jesse Jennings, originally from

Dublin, Texas, and Crowley, Texas, is a

singer, songwriter and musician based in Fort

Worth. His debut album, A LONG WAY FROM HOME, released

in August 2014 and features thirteen tracks written and

produced by Jesse. His lyrics are true reflections of his personal

experiences: love, loss, heartache, small town life, life on the

road and more. Jesse’s music and stylization are influenced by

artists he admires such as Waylon Jennings, Bob Seger, Garth Brooks, Dion

Dimucci and Elvis Presley. When people ask what his music sounds like, Jesse can

only respond with “nothing you have ever heard.” It’s country with a twist!

His latest offering "Diving In", featuring Dave Perez, is an invigorating Tropical

Country anthem that captures the essence of escaping the memory of lost love amid

the beauty and relaxation of Mexico. The song kicks off with Perez's signature

accordion, setting a lively tone that persists throughout the track. Jennings' rich,

commanding vocals blend seamlessly with Perez's dynamic fills and leads, creating a

compelling auditory experience.

Lyrically, "Diving In" speaks to the thrill of plunging into new experiences without hesitation. The verses paint vivid pictures of overcoming memories of lost love and seizing the moment, while the chorus bursts with infectious energy, encouraging listeners to let go of doubts and dive head-first into whatever comes their way. The interplay between Jesse's Vocals, Dave's Accordion, and the steady rhythm of the drums enhances the song's uplifting and motivational vibe..

The bridge offers a reflective pause, allowing the song to build back up to a crescendo that leaves the listener feeling inspired and ready to move on from the past. Overall, "Diving In" is a celebration of adventure, exhilaration, and doing whatever it takes to get her off his mind.
