Andy Martin is one of the most renowned country greats in Switzerland and it's hard to imagine the scene without him.He is one of the best Traditional Country Singers in Europe and has released 16 Studio Albums and is touring now more than 36 Years with his Band performing Country Music in several countries in Europe (CH/D/A/I/DK/E/F/LIE/S) and some parts of the rest of the world like Japan, Egypt, USA etc.
Andy Martin was born in 1957 in a little town in the Swiss Alps. After school he had a job as a Electrician and play with his Top 40 Band in the Dance-halls around the Area of his hometown.
In the early 80s he traveled through the USA and felt in love with the traditional Country Music.
Under the influence of Artist like Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Ray Price and some of the younger (at that time) Country Singers like George Strait, Mark Chesnutt, Dwight Yoakam he founded his Country Band and has been performing his music ever since.
Andy Martin has released 16 Studio Albums since 1987 and received 13 European Country Music Awards.
2023 is a very special year for Andy Martin. 36 Years on Tour, Album Number 16 is on the Market and after a very bad concert situation in the past 2 years (Covid), the number of the Shows are going strong and rising.
