Dream Phone are Hannah and Jenny from Oxford. They began as a pop-punk guitar and drums duo, but got bored of that and decided to make excellent synth-driven glitch-pop music instead. Their debut self-titled EP is out on 19th May on Oxford’s Divine Schism, on tape and digital.

Clocking in at just under 10 minutes, the EP is an explosion of bonkers off-kilter pop, and a palette cleanser from reality. Their upbeat, chirpy glitch-pop sound contrasts with the songs’ subject matters – which variously deal with real life struggles of feeling lost and out of place, being accosted at shows, as well as lighter topics, such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Dream Phone have enjoyed radio play on BBC Radio 6 Music, and performed at festivals Truck, the Big Feastival and Oxford all-dayer Divine Schism 10. They released their first single Strut earlier this year, and signed to Divine Schism for their second single Bad Girls (released 31st March).
