David Bowie's eyes weren't actually two different colours.

After getting into a fight as a kid, Bowie developed anisocoria, which caused his left pupil to become permanently dilated. So while both of his eyes were blue in colour, the left one always appeared darker because of the blackness of the dilated pupil.
