Bristol indie pop outfit Modesty Blaise are back with a holiday single 'I'll Be Back For X'mas'.
Peers of Pulp and Divine Comedey, with music that is no less in quality or fun, the collective
returned earlier this year after a 20-year hiatus, releasing one of the year's best albums
('The Modesty Blaise'). Having recorded their debut LP with EDWYN COLLINS in 1993, they
now serve up a fab and fun single to kick off your holiday playlist. Nobody makes witty,
contagious and danceable tongue-in-cheek avant pop (you could even call it baroque pop)
quite like Modesty Blaise.
Other Modesty Blaise career highlights include supporting Robbie Williams at London's O2
Arena, inclusion in a Rough Trade compilation, an ITV company documentary on Jonny
Collins, and a BBC Radio session involving seventeen people.

Dmitry Wild ‘'Don't Need Anybody'’
New York-based rocker Dmitry Wild has a new single 'Don't Need Anybody', kicking back
in a sonic adrenaline fest, wielding his trademark blend of classic rock, indie and garage.
It's out on December 1 together with the B-side 'Summer of 2021'. This would be great
music for a road trip or a party - adventurous to the core, this single foreshadows a 2022
album from Wild, also an actor and writer. His book 'Why Be Normal? details a raucous
road trip and his own personal search for the American Dream. Like his music, this is
sure to make for an interesting read.
With performance, emotion and lyrics at the core of his music, live shows take on a
theatrical and, at times, mystical experience with a band
of true conspirators, performing under the name Dmitry
Wild and The Spells.
