Niall Teague and Padraic Joyce came together through a shared passion for music and lyrics in Galway city, a place full of inspiration and influence from local traditional artists and touring bands. Their collective influences have developed into a folk style blended with Americana country and blues and they have proven to be a growing talent in the Irish music scene. Much of their new material is based on Irish events, people and places with strong connection's to local community, environment and a wider Irish audience.

They have written and recorded albums including, Witness by Moonlight (2009), Niall Teague and The Fast Company (2010), Big Red Bridge (2018) and Taobh le Taobh (2020). Big Red Bridge was recorded by Ed Kenehan and mastered by Iain Hutchinson, recording/mastering engineer of BBC Transatlantic Sessions fame. The album featured musical contributions from, Sharon Shannon and Whileaways singer Noriana Kennedy and included The Galway Advertiser's Instrumental track of the year 'Uncertain Seas'.

In 2021 Niall Teague and Padraic Joyce recorded and released their single 'West for Christmas' reaching 19 in the Irish download charts. Other highlights of 2021 included winning the Oireachtas na Gaeilge’s inaugural songwriting contest . In September 2021 Niall was invited to collaborate as a producer and arranger for the track 'Christmas in Dublin' with creative writer Deirdre Devally

MA. Christmas in Dublin received National airplay and reached number 2 in the Irish Download charts.

Best known as a powerful writing and performing duo, Niall Teague and Padraic Joyce have developed their craft as songwriters and performers and grown in popularity since winning the Panceltic international song contests in 2018. Influenced by their local Galway community, culture, and sounds, they perform music that speaks to fans across the musical spectrum. They have become important new contributors to folk music both in English and in the Irish Language. Their signature style has become

synonymous with diverse melodies, dancing

acoustic guitars and vocal harmonies that

stir the emotions. Teague and Joyce

songs are influenced by folk, country

and blues and are conscious of their

Galway Home in the west of Ireland and

the stories of the ordinary and extraordinary

people they encounter.
