Scottish Electronic duo Post Coal Prom Queen will release new single ‘Wait, Wait! Dig!’ on the 26thFebruary. The follow up to recent single ‘Salt’. ‘Wait, Wait! Dig!’ is the second to be taken from their upcoming debut EP ‘PCPQ EP ‘

The songwriting and producing duo, comprised of Lily Higham and Gordon Johnstone have developed a unique sound for PCPQ by blending organic textures, retro-futuristic synths, and mechanical beats with ambitious pop sensibilities that are effortlessly fused together with Lily's distinct vocals and cutting lyricism.

Taking what they learned in previous project L-space and continuing to build on it musically, the duo set themselves the challenge of working through their anxiety about the future to produce a collection of songs that are thematically hopeful, idealistic and personal while touching on bigger themes of environmentalism and Utopian goals.

Lyrically the song is about the search for answers, feeling that important knowledge is just out of reach, and the desire to keep digging.
