LAND SUSTAINABILITY

Research conducted on land sustainability has proven that the climate, moisture, erosion and soil has huge potential to develop horticulture.
The research was developed in collaboration with Wairoa District Council and University of Waikato. It identifies that at least 37.43km 2(= 3743.3Ha) land is available to develop and cultivate orchards and other crops.
