The Operations Manager, Eric Stark has realised the potential of the district and has started to develop his business here. His aspiration to establish a postproduction film school and recording studio in Wairoa will showcase local talent and attract international students and visitors to the area.
ROCKET LAB Rocket Labs private rocket launch site is the first of its kind in the world. It’ s focus on delivering innovative, high quality technologies to the space industry, Rocket Lab found the perfect place for their space activities in the Wairoa District.
Wairoa District Council’ s green carpet approach enabled Rocket Lab to get the approved consent within 7 days which was integral to fast tracking the process to build their state of the art facility.
