Commander Allied Rapid Reaction Corps ( COMARRC ) Change of Command Parade
After more than two years in command , Lieutenant General Sir Edward Smyth- Osbourne KCVO CBE handed over command of the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps to Lieutenant General Nicholas Borton DSO MBE in a ceremony held in the Officers ’ Mess on 15th December 2021 .
RE-SUBORDINATING OF 1ST SIGNAL BRIGADE AND104 THEATRE SUSTAINMENT BRIGADE
1st October 2021 – a formal flag ceremony was held to officiate the resubordinating of 1st Signal Brigade and 104 Theatre Sustainment Brigade under the command of the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps ( ARRC ).
This re-subordinating of these additional enabling units will further enhance the ARRC ’ s ability to operate at reach as well as providing continued assurance of combat command support , cyber capabilities and significant logistical capability . This will allow the ARRC to better support its subordinate units and allied partners and increase the overall effectiveness of the ARRC as a warfighting organisation .
