The JSHAO is the tri-service focal point for all civilian housing information . Have you considered that your entitlement to Service accommodation ends on your last day of service ? You might not have thought about the financial aspects of being in service accommodation as the charges are taken straight from your pay . Many Service Leavers are left vulnerable because they haven ’ t considered where they will live .
The JSHAO Provide advice and information regarding civilian housing to Service Personnel and their entitled family members . This advice can be at individual level or via our Housing Briefs . The information that we provide will allow you to make informed decisions and choices , regardless of the point at which you decide to make the transition from service to civilian accommodation .

The team deliver housing briefs across all three services , providing information on Civilian Housing Options . The brief is currently being delivered virtually , via Microsoft Teams . Help with military housing issues during COVID-19 crisis
The organisation responsible for looking after Service Family Accommodation ( SFA ) has introduced a number of changes to how it can be contacted during the coronavirus outbreak . Amey Defence Services , better known as ‘ AMEY ’, is committed to providing a full service to military personnel throughout the crisis , despite staff in their Customer Service Centre in Liverpool now working remotely . A spokesman for AMEY said : “ Our teams are fully committed to delivering the highest level of service to our customers during this challenging time .” Until further notice , AMEY Occupancy Services have moved to a ‘ digital-only ’ service . Personnel requiring assistance with SFA applications , allocations or house moves now have the option of sending a text message to 07860 063410 . All other services including repairs and maintenance can be accessed via the details below .
