Tell me a bit about your first ever live performance? How did it feel to sing in front of an audience for the first time?

My first ever real live performance was an open mic night when I was 15. I was VERY nervous before hand, but once I finished, I was so happy I did it. It made me realize how much I really wanted to do music for the rest of my life.

When you play live do you have a band that regularly plays with you, if so, who are they? Do they record with you?

Yes I have a band that plays with me live, no they don't record with me. I have Nick Mayer on Electric guitar, Rudy Landa on keys and a bunch of other things (he could be a one man band I swear), Matthew Bentley on drums, Tyler Brown on acoustic guitar and Ethan Ricks on Bass. They are some of the most talented musicians in Charlotte, no doubt about it.

Last month you successfully raised enough money via Kickstarter to produce your new EP, congratulations btw! How many tracks on the new EP and have you got a name for it yet?

Thank you! I feel so blessed that I have supporters that would invest their hard earned money in my dream. The EP will be called "Gypsy Heart" and it has 6 songs on it.

When will the EP be available and where can it be purchased?

We don't have a set date for the EP o be released yet, but it should be out within the next 2-3 months. You will be able to purchase a hard copy or digital copy off my website and off iTunes.

Where do you record your music? Do you have a particular studio that you use?

I record all of my music at Gat3 studios in Charlotte, North Carolina. I record there with Glenn Tabor. He is by far the most talented and professional person I've ever worked with.

Back in June you got to play at the Carolina Country Music Festival at Myrtle Beach, how was that experience for you?

Performing at the Carolina Country Music Festival was awesome! The crowd was really into the music. It was probably the most fun me and my band have had playing out together.

While reading your web page, I came across your cover of Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” is Adele one of your influences?

I absolutely LOVE Adele. She was a big

Influence for me when I was younger and she really helped me find the soul in my voice. Her song "Set Fire To The Rain" was the first song I ever recorded in a studio when I was 15 years old. It's still one of my favorites.
