The problem with writing editorials is that you run out of things to say! So, what do you do when this happens? Wing it!
This month I'm not going to write one! Instead, I'm going to take some time to acknowledge and thank some pretty awesome folks.
Carol Riordan: Eh, nothing much to say here. Ok, so I"m kidding. I've lost track of how many years I've known Carol - somewhere between a few months and 50 years. We met in an online virtual world called Second Life. We became good friends instantly and soon found out we had a lot of the same interests! Through all of the project we've worked on together, she has always gone head-on, full steam ahead and worked her butt off to do it right. She still kicks ass. I'm grateful to have her both as my friend and business partner. We both know who wears the chaps, though!
Diana Barnes: Like the rest of the staff for The IMC Magazine, I've never had the pleasure of meeting Diana in person. Diana and I have been working together on Indie News at Noon and now with Carol and me on The IMC Magazine. She has an amazing passion and dedication to everything she does. She is definitely an asset to the team.
Kiva Johns-Adkins: Another woman that loves what she does, Carol and I met Kiva in Los Angeles at the Artists in Music Awards a few yeard ago. She was the only one brave enough to ride the bull at the Saddle Ranch Chop House! From hosting her own radio show to interviewing on the Red Carpet at the AIMA, and now part of The IMC Magazine team, Kiva has been our friend and valued team-member for a few years now.
Chancy Johnson: Carol and I have known Chancy for a couple of years. Like the ladies mentioned above, he was once a guest on our weekly award winning show, Twitter Tuesday Live. Since his appearace, we are glad to have become friends with him. In addition to striving to be an actor, Chancy is a blogger, an indie supporter and has become a terrific music reviewer.
Tamela Plaine: We met Tamela through Kiva a few years ago at the AIMA. Tamela did our live interviews when we simulcasted the AIMA in 2014, Also a blogger, Tamela is now our official indie book reviewer and we are grateful to have her on the team!
Thanks to each of you for the time and dedication you all put into this magazine. It would be nothing without you.
