Death metal giants, Cannibal Corpse, tore through Fort Lauderdale March 20th for the last night of The Noise presents tour with Obituary, Cryptopsy, and Abysmal Dawn. At times you will find that bands are pretty worn down by the end of a long stretch of tour, but that was not the case with any of these bands. Each opener delivered a hard hitting set that drove the metalhead masses into circle pit after circle pit. The night proved, for anyone questioning it, the metalhead community is alive and well. With a packed house and an insane pit overtaking the crowd, there was a true sense of family from everyone on the floor. True moshpit etiquette was seen as the death metal bands threw heavy hit after heavy hit at the fans.

Cannibal Corpse is an extremely well-known name in the death metal community, you could argue they are the most well-known at that. Shredding for over a quarter of a decade they continue to pound out the music with no signs of slowing down. There are no down moments at a Cannibal Corpse show, it is over an hour of loud thrashing guitars, heavy drum notes, and growling gory vocals from the frontman known as Corpsegrinder. While a man of few words between songs, Corpsegrinder focuses more on putting his all into the music and out-performing himself for every show.
