Beach rock is surfing through sunny South Florida in the form of a tentacled body cat known as Octo Gato. Singer and guitarist Captain Octo, bassist Seaman Steve, and drummer Commander Crabcake have taken their tropical alternative vibes and brought them to life on their Superpuss LP. Each song on the album has a unique beachy theme that makes you want to throw on your bathing suit and dance around. But the music works everywhere, driving in the car? Check. Background music at work? Check. Quitting your job and opening up a water park with your grandma (my grandma is totally rad and would rock the heck out of these songs)? Definite check.
