How do you as a band  go about writing your music? Is it a collective effort or is there more one or two particular band members that do this?

A little bit of all of it. I write a lot with writers but we also all write independently and collectively. There's a good mix of all of it on the record.

Who would you say has been the biggest influence on your music?

Oh gosh... To many people to mention. I would say those who've supported us getting here.

In  the past you have  played shows with big names such as The  Fray, Goo Goo Dolls,

John Mayer,  Daughtry, and Switchfoot. How was that for you as a band?

  All were great experiences.

After the release of your album “Here and Now”  in 2011, you took a break until the recent release of your self titled album, what brought about the break and what changes have been made to band and its music?

That was the end of the original incarnation of the band. Without giving much detail, we had a member who had made some poor decisions that led to us having to stop touring.

It took about a year to come out on the other side of everything and that's when I began the process I've discussed earlier.
