Born in Detroit, the home of Motown, what was it like living through the Motown years? it was a time of discovery in music in the whole Detroit area with all the new sounds where being development..

Who was your favorite Motown artist? Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder..

What is your favorite memory growing up in Detroit?

Playing with all the different groups and bands and Going to see all the Motown acts at the Fox theater for 15 dollars.

Do you come from a musical background? My Mother and father ware master musician in education system..They had a great influence in my musical background.

How did you get into the music business? My Father had me playing classical piano sessions at 10 years of age and by the age of 13 I started playing bands (Church Bell)

Who were your musical influences while growing up? James Jamerson

We know you play Bass and Piano, do you play any other instruments? Yes, drums, Sax..

In the early 80’s you were invited to join UK Pop group Wham, who were just starting out on their musical journey, how did this come to be? The Dick Lehe owner of Bell Records called you to ask to meet this young guy George Michael the rest is history..

In 1985 Wham was the first western pop concert ever to be held in China. How was this experience? Fantastic. amazing experience it was communist China back then, Wham! was the first band ever to play in China.

Do you still work with George Michael? Yes off and on with projects.

What is your favorite Wham/George Michael Song? Wake Me Up Before You Go Go!

You also worked on Elton John's Album, Nikita. What was it like working with Elton?

I loved working with Elton he is such a pleasure to work with,I also worked on the Don’t Let The Sun Go Down at Chicago stadium.

You are also a singer and did a solo album in the late 80’s called Spell in which a couple of the tracks were hit songs. You're back to songwriting again! Describe your new project! Only Love Is Real project, is a combo of a double album of old school and new hits..

When you have time to relax, what do you like to do? Play Frisbee all around the world and bowling..

If you weren’t a musician, what would be your ideal job? To be scientist, i love the sciences..

Current Projects?

I’m also currently working with my new record label VOX TONE Records with Mark Byron Lane and we have started a Children's Charity called ECHO “Eliminate Child Hunger Organization for all of our future concerts, to help stop child hunger in the world.
