Preparation
Do not arrive with over-styled hair, as you may give your barber preconceived ideas, and you could
end up with the same haircut, or even a trim! A good idea is to bring along the particular finishing
product that you are currently using, and your barber will be able to recommend an alternative if
necessary.

Do Not Be Shy
A good barber will not talk over you, and he/she will always listen to your ideas. A skilled barber
will also understand that you both reach your goals by collaboration, as ‘it takes two’. Be clear, but
flexible (keep an open mind) with regard to your requirements, and you'll get a result that you will
be very happy with.
