Duke of Edinburgh’ s Award One of the great strengths of the school is that so many of our students take the Duke of Edinburgh’ s Gold Award. Students new to the Sixth Form do not have to have previously completed Bronze or Silver.
Clubs and Societies From Ceramics to Volleyball, Japanese to Pride Society, there should be something for everyone and, if there isn’ t, then students have the opportunity to set up something new themselves. This is an area where Sixth Formers are encouraged to take a leadership role and mentor younger students.
Trips There are approximately 70 residential trips( and over 150 day trips) on offer each year. Recent language trips include Spain, Belgium, Italy, and Cuba. There is an annual Geography field trip to Morocco, an Art trip to New York, a Physics trip to Geneva, Biology expeditions, and many more. There are two major sports tours every year, as well as music and drama tours and service trips, most recently to South Africa.
Model United Nations One of the highlights is the trip to the MUN conference in Bath. The Sevenoaks delegation is recognised as being one of the most formidable of all the schools that attend and we regularly come home with some awards.
