NANA

NANA Shareholder Learning, Employment & Development

Report on Shareholder Opportunities and Success

NANA’ s mission is to improve the quality of life of our people. As part of this mission, NANA and its family of companies provide employment and development opportunities. We do this through a strong partnership between NANA companies and the Shareholder Learning, Employment & Development department( SLED).

Since 2014, NANA has provided more than 228 opportunities to shareholders through a variety of programs, including on-the-job training, internships, scholarships, and outreach efforts. In the past three years, NANA has contributed over $ 120,000 in post-secondary education assistance to NANA shareholder employees. Outreach programs include the BWISE partnership that brings science and engineering exposure to students in the NANA region. Individual development programs help shareholders get on-the-job experience, which can lead to certification and advancement.
Since 2005, 243 internships have been provided to 178 shareholders. The interns gain valuable work experience, earn a wage while learning job skills, and build relationships with leaders and professionals in many fields.
For more information on the programs and opportunities available for NANA shareholders, please contact Shareholder Learning, Employment and Development at 907-265-4100 or 800-478-2000 or sled @ nana. com.
