The Friends of Point Pelee hosts the Festival of Birds from May 1 to May 18. Located at Point Pelee National Park, participants can learn about the local lakes, complete the 100 Species Challenge, or take a bird photography walk with a nature specialist. Chances are, Mom took you exploring at Point Pelee when you were a young ‘un – it’s time to return the favour. And you can stop for lunch or supper in picturesque Leamington or Kingsville on the way home. Express your delight with spring by showing off your toes!
