Fans, fans, in the stands, stomp your
feet and clap your hands....
B
ut please leave the boorish
behaviour at home. Swearing,
name-calling, arguing with officials
and bullying players or fellow spectators
really puts a damper on the game. It can
also make you look pretty foolish, or, at
the very least, like an ill-mannered oaf.
It’s kids’ sports that tend to get the most
attention when it comes to commenting
on, and trying to curb, bad bleacher
behaviour. But the big leagues can be just
as bad, and although it may be tolerated
more, that doesn’t make it right.
