WINDSOR PRIDE FINDS NEW HOME YQG has loved the winery routes through Essex County. You'll now be able to follow the "Coffee Trail" to explore the various local coffee connoisseurs. The trail will have stops at nine places, including Craftheads Brewery, Red Lantern Coffee Co. and Merlis' Coffee House. In the Pelissier Street parking garage expansion, Windsor PRIDE found themselves without a home. After pleas to council for an extension to remain in the building were unsuccessful, Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital stepped forward and has created a temporary home for the organization. This allows PRIDE to remain downtown to better serve its clientele. Thanks Hotel Dieu! On July 14 a hearing will be held in Windsor to discuss the proposed upcoming minimum wage increase. The hearing will run from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts. This public hearing gives industry representatives and the general public the opportunity to state their thoughts on the proposed increase. Hearings also take place elsewhere across Ontario throughout July.
