SKILLED TRADES SHORTAGE The Windsor-Essex Chamber of Commerce released a report this June stating the skills shortage costs YQG half a billion dollars each year. Skills Canada says 50 per cent of jobs in the next 10 years will be in the trades, but only 1/4 of upcoming students are considering these fields.
