July2016 Sunday 17 Open Streets Windsor 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Open Streets involves the temporary closure of roadways to vehicular traffic, allowing people to use them for a host of fun activities and leading residents to explore their neighbourhoods. Windsor’s 8 km route will lead folks along Sandwich Street @ Brock Street right through University Avenue to Aylmer and then Wyandotte Street up Drouillard Road ending at Whelpton Street. Summer Concerts in the Park Lakewood Park 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Dale Butler, singer/songwriter from Leamington, performs a variety of music including a blend of folk/country/bluegrass and gospel; he is considered a storyteller and guitarist. Thursday 21 Friday 22 All British Car and Motorcycle Show Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. British vendors get in free, while regular car registration is only $10, allowing a full list of beautiful cars not regularly seen. With our diner open, food also available in our Village Boarding House, a beer garden, door prizes and more, we are looking forward to seeing how Canadian cars differ from the British!
