Eva Antonel has been a resident of Essex County for the past 43 years . She has gone to school , married , raised a family , met lifelong friends and made a living by working with books and magazines in this , her chosen city . When she is not working with words , she is either reading or writing them for pleasure .
Paige Vanderbeck is entering her second year in the Tourism & Travel program at St . Clair College , and previously studied history , French and humanities at Douglas College in Vancouver . In her spare time she is an avid cyclist , bad movie enthusiast and record collector . She shares a downtown appartment with a very surly rabbit named Jimmy Hoppa . Angelica Haggert has two BAs from the University of Windsor and is beginning the pursuit of a diploma from St . Clair College . She loves all things theatre , words , chips & dip and giraffes . She ’ s spending the summer as a camp director at a local day camp .
Michael Haggert is one of those guys who literally puts the food on the table for his wife and daughters . While he waits for the city to realize backyard chickens are a good idea , he ’ s making his own pasta , putting up jam from the backyard berries or canning sauce from his homegrown tomatoes . And hanging out at the market on Saturday mornings , of course .
James Zimmerman was born and raised in Windsor and has tremendous love for the city . James enjoys a wide variety of topics including technology and gadgets , politics , performance art , sports and movies . James has sat on the board of directors for Windsor Dance eXperience and the University of Windsor Walksafe program . He is the past managing editor and web editor of The Converged Citizen . As Windsor moves through its periods of change , James will be there to capture the good , the bad , and the wonderful .
Shelley Divnich Haggert reads , writes and teaches in Windsor , and has been part of the local & national magazine industry for 13 years . She has three daughters , and is “ Grandma ” to a hedgehog , a parakeet and a min pin / poodle cross . She lives with her husband , teenager and Thor , a dog who ’ s afraid of thunder .
