Teens aged 16 to 19 can dance their hearts out at the new Karma Dance Club , open Friday and Saturday nights from 8 p . m . to 1 a . m . Student I . D . is required , and there is a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol . Parents and teens with questions can visit the website at www . karmadanceclub . com for answers .
There is a cover charge , and non-alcholic drinks and snacks are available for purchase . Karma is located at 477 Pelissier Street in Windsor .
New Student Housing
The former Riverside Inn is being converted to a privately-run student housing option . Club Riverside will will offer planned shared amenities like a theatre room , group study area , study cubicles , an indoor pool and fitness area . The building can house 280 students ; some units are double occupancy .
With an increasing number of St . Clair College and University of Windsor students attending classes downtown , this will allow more students to be housed near their class locations . Units include free Internet and come with a Transit Windsor bus pass .
