Calling all Windsors
Buckingham Palace has contacted the Windsor
Earth Day Contest Public Library as part of its work on a new book
ERCA is asking students to show, in any
creative medium, how they make every day
Earth Day. The contest will highlight the
students’ daily habits which contribute to
bettering our local environment.
ERCA welcomes pictures, poems and
essays, and even photographs. Submissions
must come from students from
Windsor-Essex schools.
Submissions will be shared on the
ERCA website and social media pages. The
five winning submissions will be rewarded
with an Earth Day prize pack, which includes
a gift card generously donated by the Windsor
Crossing outlet mall.
Submissions can be sent with subject
line “Earth Day contest.”

be published in 2016 by England’s Royal
Collection Trust, which is responsible for the care
of the Royal Collection and manages the public
opening of the official residences of the Queen.
Windsor, Ontario is one of at least four
municipalities in Canada that share the name.
