Sophie into an old
woman.Sophie leaves
her town and ends up
becoming the
cleaning lady for the
Wizard Howl. She
than makes a bargain
with Howl’s fire
demon, Calcifer, who
will help Sophie break
her spell if she helps
him break his contract
with Howl.
The characters have great
personalities. At times the
plot is slow and confusing,
but still is fun to read.
Rating: 3 ½ stars.
