Jasmine Joseph Junior Jasmines first year on the team has really impacted her, showing her to humble and to never take things for granted. Jasmine is personally excited for state because it’s a new experience, but she’s ready to put in the work. “The PAC has honestly changed me completely, because i have never conditioned this hard before.”, says jasmine. To her, this team is a blessing and she loves being around the positive vibes. Jasmine is very thankful for the opportunity. Carlos Quihuis Senior The past three years on this team have been life changing, health wise and confidence wise, for Carlos. The team has shown him a lot of discipline, time management skills, and it has pushed him to new limits. Carlos said, “It’s sad going into my last year of state. Even after all this time the nerves still get to me. It is going to be hard coming off of the stage.” Lastly, Carlos mentioned, “I don’t plan to be dancing professionally after high school but dance will always be with me.” Preparing For State Preparing for State takes endless nights and creates so much stress. Lopez says, “I don’t sleep at all because I'm choreographing and studying. I'm listening to music, and I'm always changing things.” For the team, it’s 24/7 practice. “What people don’t see is how many hours the team is putting into practicing for state.”, Says Lopez. It took three years to get to where the team was the first time they won. The first group worked very hard, with discipline and structure. It was a lot of growing. Every team that follows looks up to them.
