SADD CLUB WITH YOUNGBLOOD Teacher Interview Ms.Youngblood spoke on the club and what is covered in it. She is letting us know that the SADD club is Students Against Destructive Decisions and it promotes against things like drinking and driving, drug abuse, tobacco use , bullying, self harm, texting and driving. They also focus on helping the community with community service days. “Being a role model for good behavior is extremely important, especially when in high school, the more dedicated members we have the more we can accomplish.” ~Youngblood Some activities the club has run is the annual Walden Grove Dead Day which promotes against drinking and driving. They also ran a SADD tabling week during lunch where they educated the campus on drug abuse and the consequences that come with it. Next quarter SADD club will be doing an anti-bullying campaign, let us know your story! Meetings are Mondays at lunch room 1269.
