members of their star team:
Noah Beutler(11) & Halle Kibby(10)
Q: What’s the biggest difficulty
you've overcome as a team?
N: The biggest difficulty that we've overcome,
in my opinion, is that we lost two of our
varsity runners due to graduation,
one of which was our best runner
, and we've still been competing and
performing pretty well without them.
Q: Tell me about your best memory in XC!
N: The best memory I have from cross country is
from last year when we qualified for state
as a team and got to all experience that race together.
H: Twilight Meet, we all got to hang out. We were
there for hours at night and it was the best weather.
Q: Are there any future meets
and fundraisers coming up for your team?
N: On October 29th we have sectionals at Rio Rico and if
we perform well enough there we will qualify for
state the following week so it would be
really cool to have some people out there for that.
