The hotel offers souvenirs in the form of postcards, magnets, and informative literature. The museum is run by donations only and each purchase goes to support the maintenance of the building. Across from the museum stands a granite veteran’ s memorial in honor of the many service men and women of the township. Down the street can be found a restored barber shop from 1915. The museum and barber shop are just two of the many repurposed historical buildings that dot Scotland’ s landscape. The annual Scotland Festival is held as a fundraiser for the preservation of Scotland’ s historic places.
