This reference 6239 is a very rare variant due to the ‘ blue ’ Daytona signature . These examples were produced during the very last years of manufacture . A defect in the pigment turned the signature , originally white in colour , to an attractive and subtle light blue shade . This watch is also very appealing due to the presence of its original bracelet , stamped for the second quarter of 1969 .
