The elected officials Katie Braid as Clerk-Treasurer, Ron Troyer as a council member, and Pete Kauffman as a council member will take office on January 1, 2012 and I am sure will appreciate the resident’s support. “Don’t listen to critics ... Do what has to be done.” “I do therefore desire the Lord’s wisdom to guide me, and those that may be concerned with me, that we do the thing that is truly wise and just,” - William Penn In all that we do, whether business, government, industry, church, etc. our thoughts govern our actions in one way or another, We are reminded of the aphorism, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” A person is literally what they think, our character is a complete sum of all our thoughts, Men imagine that thought can be kept secret but it cannot; it rapidly crystallizes into habit and habit solidifies into circumstance. As we experience turmoil and unrest in the world, let’s consider the hometown atmosphere in our local communities and be thankful for neighbors and friends. The new school year has started.
