in and use their parking lot and grassy
areas to extend the fair.”
On Saturday, October 6, the Trading Place Pavilion will host another
thirty to thirty-five vendors offering
handcrafted items, fall decorations,
mums, pumpkins and other cooler fall
weather items. Their farmers’ market
will also be open with fresh fruits and
vegetables. The pavilion will feature
The Shakin’ Hammers dulcimer music.
A third entertainment location
will be on the deck of the new frozen
yogurt eatery on the east side (back)
of The Hitching Post, just north of The
Blue Gate Restaurant.
According to Wray there will be
smaller ‘satellite’ tents across their
grounds with other crafters. One example is the chainsaw wood carver set
up in front of The Hitching Post. The
rest of the area in front of The Hitching
Post will be designated as a kids area
with free miniature pony wagon rides,
a face painter and a balloon artist.
