The meeting will be held in the Wolfe Community building. • The Shipshewana Park Department will be set up at this weekend’s Fall Crafters Fair selling Shipshewana t-shirts, vests, water bottles and other Shipshewana merchandise. • A tax abatement was approved for Open Range for their new construction north on State Road 5. • Leaf pick-up will begin in October. As of the deadline for this publication, it was not determined what days leaf pick-up will occur. Any questions in this regard may be directed to the Town Office. • A reminder that open burning is no longer allowed in Shipshewana and that includes both the burning of leaves and trash. The burning of charcoal, clean untreated wood and other cooking fuels used in an outdoor grill is allowed under the new ordinance. Campfires are allowed until midnight.
