Jarret Slabach is well-known
throughout the hallways of Westview
High School. He is known partially for
his play on the soccer field and partially because of his infamous bad jokes.
During a bus trip to an away soccer
game a trailer filled with pigs went by.
The air was filled with a horrible stench
that quieted everyone (everyone except
Slabach). “Those pigs must be hogging
all of the fresh air,” he remarked.
During his high school career he
has been involved in many different
teams and clubs. He has played soccer
all four years, basketball for two, golf,
track, Spanish club, FFA basketball
team, and has even tried to start his
own pterodactyl club. It’s not going
well.
Sticking with the Westview soccer
program for this long takes plenty of
