Westview Boys Tennis
The Westview boys tennis season
has gone fairly well and the team has
really progressed as time has gone on.
“Even though our record doesn’t show
it, we have played really well in just
about all of our matches. We have the
desire to win and it has shown in a lot
of matches this year,” said senior leader
Austin Schlabach. “The highlight of my
season has been watching our team
progress throughout the season. Skill
wise and teammate wise.”
Improvement is credited to both
coaches, Yoder and Hochstetler. “Our
team has definitely improved on our
mental game and I would say my mental game has really improved from the
start of the season. The coaches calm
us down in between cross over’s and in
our pre-game warm-ups,” he adds.
Another one of the reasons Westview has been so successful this season
is because of sophomore standout
Jamar Weaver. Weaver has been great
this season on all accounts to anyone
following the team. Schlabach has especially been impressed. “He has really
stepped up his game from last year. He
