Proceeds from the event are used to raise funds for the sixth grade Chicago and fifth grade Indianapolis field trips. Once again this year, the event was a big success. A total of 6,650 chicken halves were sold this year, compared to 6,600 sold last year. Mr. Kevin Miller’s fifth grade class sold the most tickets for this year’s BBQ, 602.
