LaGrange County Habitat for Humanity completed its fourth “A Brush
with Kindness” project last month as it
installed a new metal roof for the family of Sandy Bell.
“A Brush with Kindness” is a program that helps low-income homeowners (those earning sixty percent or
less of the LaGrange County median
income) by offering home repairs or
upgrades. As in other LCHFH programs, homeowners are expected to
provide sweat equity alongside the
volunteers and to repay the costs of
the repairs. For further information,
please call 260-463-8519.
