Photo Submitted Westview’s Student Ambassadors Westview High School has selected eight students to receive “Student Ambassador of the Month” honors for September. These outstanding students were selected by their teachers. Westview strives to promote and acknowledge students doing more than what was expected of them. Junior High Parent Shadow Day Westview Junior High parents are invited to Parent Shadow Day. Parents may come to school with your child on Wednesday, November 9 from 8:15 am to 12:45 pm to shadow your student’s classes and learn more about what really happens on a daily basis. Westview Junior High Administration and Staff are planning this event. Information has been provided to parents at Parent Teacher Conferences. Be sure to return your RSVP form to the Westview Junior High front office or call to reserve your spot by November 4. Transportation will not be provided. Westview is looking forward to providing an opportunity for parents to be more involved in their student’s classes. Functional Skills Class Fundraiser The Functional Skills Class at Westview High School is selling soup and snack jars for their annual Christmas Fundraiser. The soup is Curly Soup and the snack jar is Sweet and Spicy Snack Mix. Each jar is $8. They are decorated with material as well as the recipe. Orders are due by December 1. Jars will be ready on December 15 and 16. If you have jars you would like to donate please let Stephanie Oakley know. Proceeds go to the classroom and will allow the class the opportunity to purchase books, academic items, games, puzzles, equipment, and classroom supplies.
