In Boston Marathon curred. When asked whether he would return to race at Boston in the future, Lyle said, “I probably won’t return, but it’s not because of the bombings. It’s something that I’ve always wanted to do and now that I’ve experienced it, I’m not sure if I’ll do it again.” Lyle continued, “It’s sad and disappointing that this kind of thing [bombing] had to happen.” He continued, “Most of the runners and families that were affected were the ones that were in the race for the sole purpose of raising money for a charity.” Side note: Andy Williams, from Middlebury and brother of Westview teacher Don Williams, participated in the Boston Marathon this year and finished a very impressive sixty-eighth overall with a time of 2:28:40.
