Parkview Receives Lions’ “Vision” Award The Indiana Lions Eye & Tissue Transplant Bank presented their 2011 “VISION” award to Parkview LaGrange Hospital for their exemplary dedication and commitment to their donor program and the community they serve. In 2011, Parkview LaGrange Hospital was responsible for making a difference in the lives of ten individuals through the gift of sight. In the past five years, over thirtysix people have had cornea transplants due to their efforts and the generosity of the community of LaGrange. Volunteers Needed LaGrange County Habitat for Humanity is seeking volunteers for the building of their twenty-second home to be built in Topeka at 211 Pleasant Drive. They are partnering with Louella Cruea and her two children. All work days are Saturdays from 8:004:00 pm with lunch provided at noon. Construction will continue through June.
