LaGrange County Economic Development Corporation
Launches New Upgrades To Website
The LaGrange County Economic Development
Corporation (LCEDC) is excited to announce the
launch of its newly redesigned economic development
website today. The updated website can be found at
www.lagrangecountyedc.com.
The LaGrange County Economic Development
Corporation partnered with Cirrus ABS, a business
services and web development firm headquartered in
Fort Wayne, IN to design the new website. Cirrus ABS
previously custom designed the award-winning www.
lagrangecountyedc.com website for the LCEDC, and
helped the group incorporate new and innovative tools
into their site to increase their web presence. Chief
among the new upgrades that will be most visible to
a visitor to the website is a new and improved “Sites
and Buildings” database, as well as a report builder
function. “These new tools make our site easier for users
to navigate and find the most relevant information to
them” said Keith Gillenwater, Executive Director of the
LCEDC. “Our sites and buildings database features a
wide variety of available sites and buildings in LaGrange
County, and the report building function allows
users to easily generate an LCEDC branded report
with information that is relevant to their individual
needs.” The website also features information on core
industries vital to LaGrange County, information on
business incentives, and a wealth of other information
that current and future customers of the LCEDC need.
The previous LCEDC website received an award from
the Mid-America Economic Development Council in
their best websites category.
“We are excited to be launching our updated
website” Gillenwater said. “Having a professional and
user-friendly website is one of the most important
factors in giving the LCEDC a competitive advantage,
and I am confident that we have accomplished this
with our new site.”
The launch of the new website coincides with
the upcoming two year anniversary of the LaGrange
County Economic Development Corporation. “In
the last two years, we have really focused on capacity
building that will help the LCEDC accomplish our core
missions: business retention and expansion, business
attraction, supporting entrepreneurial development,
and improving quality of life” Gillenwater said. “We are
confident that the LCEDC has laid the groundwork to
build on our early successes and continue to be a real
change agent for LaGrange County.”
