Van Buren, Suite 2B Shipshewana, IN 46565 (in the Next Door Building) Office Hours: Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. CLOSED: Sun., Wed., Sat. The LaGrange County Convention and Visitors Bureau has relocated its offices and Visitors Center to 350 South Van Buren Street on SR 5. According to executive director Beth Thornburg, the decision to relocate the Visitors Center and CVB offices was made early last year based on research conducted through visitors’ surveys. The LaGrange County CVB Board of Directors appointed a task force committee to explore viable options and make a final recommendation. The board voted to approve the recommendation brought forth by the task force at the October board meeting. The new location of the Visitors Center offers a seating area, a coffee bar for visitors, and soon will be equipped with computers to aid tourists in their online searches for local attractions. The location also has numerous printed resources about the Shipshewana, LaGrange County, and surrounding Amish Backroads. “We are excited to be settled into our new location, and we invite everyone to stop in and visit us,” said Thornburg.
