The student’s success on these tests is vital for high school graduation. In the last three years, the scores for Westview students have improved every year. Two of these classes are go- by Luke Pamer ing to be taught by Paul Baker. They are “Intro to Ag”, a tenth grade class, and “Agribusiness”, an upperclassmen class that is also a dual credit class through Purdue University. The high school is making a step towards being more technologically advanced as well. Westview is making the purchase of ninety laptops. There will be three carts filled with thirty laptops that can be wheeled around to different classes for use. Laptops are expen- sive however, and the purchase will cost the school upwards of $48,000. In other news, Paul Johnston, the junior high principal, has announced his retirement at the end of this school year. Tara Miller, who was in charge of varsity girls tennis, junior high girls soccer, and head of junior high student council, has left for a full time job at Northwood High School.
