Hunter Sign Intent To Play
Skyler Carpenter, son of Jeff and
Brenda Carpenter of Shipshewana and
Dominique Hunter, son of Andy and
Laura Hunter of Shipshewana, have
signed a letter-of-intent to continue
their academic and athletic careers at
NCAA Division 1 Universities. Carpenter will be a member of coach Steve
Keith’s Vanderbilt University Track
and Field team, while Hunter will be
headed north to play soccer for head
coach Nicholas Deren at the Univer-
sity of Detroit Mercy. Both Carpenter
and Hunter are Westview seniors and
excelled both academically and athletically during their high school experience.
